The Maury Island UFO incident captures all the wildest element of UFO mythology from sighting of supposed alien craft, conspiracies, assassinations, plots by the CIA, FBI and other government agencies together with shady figures from the US, what the truth is we may never know.

What we do know, however, is that it did not ride on the back of other alleged UFO sightings for it occurred three days before the famous Kenneth Arnold incident that gave birth to modern day UFO mythology. Many UFO researchers have claimed the incident at Maury Island was an outright hoax with its main protagonist Fred Crisman having a history with Amazing Stories magazine with his contributions detailing am underground super-civilisation run by robots.

Crisman was also implicated in the JFK assassination, but, more mundanely, was later proved to have been teaching at the time.
