The Great Sphinx ~ Weathering of the Sphinx

The Great Sphinx

The Great Sphinx: Explaining the weathering of the Sphinx through water erosion, leading to a redating of the Sphinx with John West and Robert Schoch.

The Great Sphinx is the world's oldest known sculpture, and has historically been dated to the Old Kingdom of Egypt during the reign of the Pharaoh Chefren (c. 2558–2532 BC) however recent research has called that into question as new evidence points to an earlier dating.

This is an excellent video exploring the evidence for that earlier dating as discussed in Ancient Egypt Pyramids at Violations. The video shows how the Sphinx was eroded by water damage rather than sand damage, causing us to question its original dating for the last time there was sufficient rain fall in Egypt was thousands of years before the earliest recorded Egyptian civilisation.

If both John West and the respected geologist Robert Schoch are correct, then there must have been an organised civilisation on the planet before recorded history.
